Standard & Pochin produce a range of centrifugal fans. The Discus centrifugal range runs from 140 to 2000mm diameter and individual models can be tailored to suit customers’ special requirement. The backward curved aerofoil type fans are ideal for general ventilation use. They are non-overloading, high efficiency types designed for dust-free air operation in air conditioning, ventilation, fume removal, drying and forced fraught applications. Multi-vane types are available for low noise, low speed applications.

For dust handling, pneumatic conveying and gas boosting the backward inclined types are non-overloading and self-cleaning. Also available are radial fans which are self-cleaning and are ideal for use in dust handling, hot gases and drying. Fan units can be supplied with a variety of direct or belt drives, right or left hand designations, with flush, flanged or spigot inlets and flanged or spigot discharge connections.
